Snow Hill Elementary School had an exciting Field Day outdoors filled with fun, laughter, and friendly competition! Students enjoyed a variety of activities, games, and refreshing snowcones while making lasting memories with classmates and staff! #WeAreWorcester

Attention WCPS Families: Maryland SUN Bucks helps families with school-aged children who receive free or reduced-price meals buy groceries during the summer break when school meals are unavailable.

Calling all book detectives, we need your help!

We’re getting ready to celebrate our future learners at Pre-K Signing Day!

Families must complete their child’s Pre-K enrollment by May 22nd to secure a spot and be part of this exciting event.
This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the start of your child’s educational journey, meet our school community, and make it official—your child is headed to Pre-K!

Our Muffins with Misses events were a wonderful success! In partnership with Title I, Community Schools, and The Judy Center, families connected and learned together while supporting reading at school and home. Thank you to all the ladies who participated—your encouragement makes a real difference in our students' reading growth!

As we wrap up the final week of student book checkouts, we kindly ask families to help students look for any missing library books at home, in backpacks, cars, or under beds! Please return all library books to Snow Hill Elementary School by Friday, May 29th.

Our school library collection is shared by every student, and taking care of books helps ensure that all children can continue to enjoy exciting stories, learn new things, and discover books they love for years to come. Returning books on time also helps us prepare the shelves for next school year and keep our collection complete and ready for learning.

The Big Draw 2026 was a huge success! Thank you, Mrs. Sullivan for organizing this special day exploring the arts for our K-3 students!

Snow Hill Elementary students in Kindergarten through Grade 3 are enjoying the 14th annual Big Draw today! 🎨🎭🎶

Students are traveling through the arts with hands-on experiences in dance, music, visual arts, theater, and more throughout the day. The celebration will conclude with a special performance by the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra.

What an incredible opportunity to inspire creativity and a love for the arts in our young learners! #WeAreWorcester

Books, muffins, and coffee will be available
Look for signs to guide you to your child’s class area
Students will be seated together by their classroom teacher

🎶 Schedule:
Kindergarten Music Program begins at 8:30 AM
Muffins with Misses will begin immediately following the program
